Paraiso beach is a flat water spot very popular because of being close to Lima (about 2 hours).  Paraiso is the begining of a very long beach that ends at Huacho town.   It faces north and then gets curved and faces west.  All the sailing is done in front of the first part of the beach, near the shore. The wind here blows offshore from the south, having its peak around 4:00 or 5:00 pm.  There are some small waves near the shore which are very difficult to surf or jump.
